Daddy said we needed a 4-wheeler. It couldn't wait until we got moved.
It must be nice for daddies to have children to give them excuses to buy toys they also enjoy. chuckle When we go out to work on the house, we always have to make time for rides on the 4-wheeler. Destry has discovered a great jumping ditch and has even put the 4-wheeler to work in hauling off old carpets we're removing from the hardwood floors.
Alan's justification for the 4-wheeler: The kids are going to need it to ride down the dirt road to the river so they can explore, catch frogs and turtles, and go fishing.
My interpretation? Daddy is looking forward to trapping season!
Regardless of the motive, I'm seeing big grins all the way around.

you guys (and us guys) are going to have so much fun back in the country! The kids are excited to have a farm to go back to!
ReplyDeleteI can just see the three little boy cousins exploring that river in the years to come! :)
DeleteAs we have no 4-wheeler, I will have to live vicariously through you guys. Although the last time I rode on one, Derek was driving and trying to scare me. It really, really worked.
ReplyDeleteI think my kids are thrill-junkies. Watching them jump the ditch makes me nervous, but they grin the entire time.
DeleteI clearly see children who are going to NEED it. Yes! ;D (That looks like TONS of fun!!)
ReplyDeleteHe, he, looks like Alan persuaded you easily enough!
DeleteIt is my joy to see the exuberance from your children participating in outdoor stuff.
