Wouldn't you like to come and stay with us?
We have a wonderfully comfortable hide-a-bed! I'm sure the jumping just. . .um. . .tenderizes the springs!I know I'm a pushover in my old age. But I can't resist the pleas of "can we jump on the couchbed?!" It's especially difficult to say 'no' when it's cold and blustery outside, the trampoline is broken, and the bed is only used a couple times a year anyway.
Their friends think I'm the coolest mom ever when they all get to jump on the couch bed. No jumping on the real beds, you understand, and I simply cannot tolerate the sounds of fighting or whining. But jump on the couch bed? Sure, why not?!
If I were three years old, weighed 24 pounds, had a princess cd player, and really cool beads in my braids I would want to jump on the couch bed too!!
That is one happy girl!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Bree always let her boys jump on her bed and my kids thought SHE was the coolest! I couldn't resist either!

Marcy--this is a relatively new privilege--I guarantee you haven't slept on it since they've been jumping on it. See why I decided it couldn't hurt it? :D
I agree Shonya....maybe it will help it!:) How does it not fold up on her???? That's a problem we've always had with it!

ReplyDeleteI am really glad she stays so close to the middle. Trampoline experience? And I always try to remind myself of something I read in another blog - my boundaries are not your boundaries. You might think I'm crazy to let my kids do x and some people might think you're crazy to let your kids jump on the hide-a-bed, but that's just because we're different people :) Jump away, Kiana!
