It's That Time

I recently finished Barbara Shelton's monster of a book on how to home school high school, Senior High: A Home-Designed Formula.

I feel:

refreshed by the reading and a renewed focus
overwhelmed by what all I want/need to do
inspired by her vision and the many possibilities
motivated to seek the Lord and give my very best to my children these last few years
scared of messing up this most important task of my life
excited to learn along with them and see what God does with their lives
nervous about how to do this and how ill-equipped I am
pumped about planning
reassured that God equips us for the task

Oh! And you might like Setting the Record Straight by Lee Binz. She is a friend of mine (used to be just online but turned into IRL at the Cincinnati convention) and she also has a lot of great products for helping us homeschool high school.

Here is a link to her book. https://www.createspace.com/3408564

  5. Laura, thanks for the recommendation. I've read her blog for a while, but not the book--somehow I missed that! :) I would love to visit with you as we enter these high school years together! :)
