| One morning a few weeks ago, Easton found a piece of play money (a coin), from a nice, realistic-looking set the older kids have. He got all excited about it and asked if he could go to the store and buy some mints. He was so cute, and so excited, I just had to let him. So, complete with his pajamas, we made a trip to the store (Casey's). He was so cute, picking out the mints and giving his "money" to the clerk. They weren't very busy, and she was a younger girl who always thinks my kids are cute, so I just winked at her and she made a big deal over taking his money and pretending to let him buy the mints himself. (One of the benefits of living in a small town!) Since it was first thing in the morning and we were at Casey's, we decided to get donuts, too.

Easton and Kiana thought donuts were a grand idea for breakfast. It's fun, when you don't do things very often, to do it and make a big deal of it as a big treat.

Here is a video of Easton when we got home, sharing the shopping trip experience.

And while this wasn't during the same trip, I just have to share this cute picture of my little helper 'pumping gas'. He is so excited to help with every little thing, and is just sure he can do whatever Destry (the usual gas pumper) does.
