No, not literally! Briana was in the play this year: 'A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court'. It was a spoof of Mark Twain's story by the same name. She had a grand time, even as the 'new kid on the block' with all the high schoolers, and she learned a lot, too.
The setting was in the middle ages, and she was a townswoman. So, she had to wear smudges on her face and have her hair all a mess. I know I'm late posting this, but wanted to share it anyway.
Everyone who knows her is always surprised at how she 'steps out of herself' on stage. She can be so quiet and well-mannered reading her books and knitting and such, but when you put her on stage, look out!! She really loves it. |
