Cousin Buddies

It's pretty cute to see cousins growing up together. Easton and his cousin Nathan (my brother, Sheldon's, son) are only one month apart in age (Nathan is the elder). My sil, Marcy, and I have had some fun times 'mediating' in the past as they are both obsessed with the same things (namely balls and tractors!!!), but they're doing a lot better these days. We enjoy watching them, wondering what sorts of trouble they're going to get into in the future, and which of them will be the instigator! They are awfully cute, for sure! In this first picture, they are at Easton's second birthday party with the ball Nathan got for Easton. They both loved it. For some reason, they had fun taking turns sitting on one another's laps in the little rocking chair. Easton is bigger than Nathan, so it was even funnier when HE sat on Nathan's lap! Next we have some 'before and after' pictures at cousin Isaiah's birthday party. First, Easton and Nathan are having a grand time with bags of chips laid out before them. They look like partners in crime, do they not?! But notice their hair, because we mommas had a cheap moment and Uncle Jon (Shayla's husband) turned into a barber and buzzed their hair. You never know what we're going to do at one of the kids' birthday parties!!!! (but they're sure a good excuse to get together and see family!) Truthfully, we mommas sort of mourned the loss of hair minutes afterward! Aren't they cute, though?! And here you have some great friends who just happen to be the proud mommas of these precious little boys. Dontcha love it when people try to take their own pictures?! :)
