Well, it's the season, isn't it?! Briana and Destry have spent a lot of time practicing, the flute and euphonium respectively, so it was time for the band concert. I'm not talented enough to provide video for you, so you'll just have to settle for quiet pictures! :) Briana is the second from the right on the front row and Destry is the first on the right in the second row. Destry also plays the trumpet, but has focused more on the euphonium this last semester. Dad also played trumpet 'many years ago', so sometimes for fun he used Destry's trumpet music and they practiced the pieces together. Mom has no talent, so just snapped pictures. Here is what Easton thought of the band concert. I think he must have sensitive ears! :) He did the same thing both at the circus and at Briana's play. With all the music in the house, he is just sure he should play something. He loves to play on the keyboard, and is fascinated with Destry's metronome. But the thing that has amazed me the most is that the little stinker is able to get sound from the euphonium! Not an easy feat--esp. for a two year old!! Do you see the ornery glint in his eye? |
